About David
David James isn't a career politician — just someone from State LD 13 who's watched their property tax bill grow every year while the state legislature seems to forget regular families exist. David James decided someone needed to say what everyone in town is already saying at the diner.

Real Property Tax Relief
- Support expanding direct property tax rebate programs for homeowners and seniors
- Push for automatic enrollment so eligible seniors don't miss out on relief they qualify for
- Back a senior tax freeze program for those on fixed incomes
Support Our Local Schools
- Push for State LD 13's fair share of state school aid based on actual student need
- Support state funding for after-school and summer learning programs
- Back competitive teacher pay to keep good teachers in local classrooms
Fix Our Roads
- Push for state infrastructure dollars to actually reach State LD 13, not just larger districts
- Support a public, trackable list of local road projects and their funding status
- Back dedicated funding for rural and small-town road maintenance
Affordable Healthcare for Families
- Support state-level action to cap insulin and prescription drug costs
- Back expanded state subsidies to lower marketplace premiums for working families
- Push for price transparency requirements at hospitals and clinics statewide
